Outdoor Science Education

Operated by the MCOE, Camp Green Meadows is an outdoor school that provides experiential science and environmental education for students across the county and serves more than 3,000 fifth and sixth grade students every year.

After nearly 60 years of operation, cabins and buildings at the outdoor require maintenance and renovations which can be supported through capital campaigns through the MCEF.  Other support for CGM is assistance to foster youth and other students in need to attend summer camp.

Visual and Performing Arts

Visual and Performing Arts help students develop an appreciation for the arts through performances and arts education events. The MCEF supports many local programs with donations to continue and also offers a variety of sponsorships for students to attend local art camps.

STEM/STEAM Education

MCE Foundation is committed to the expansion of Merced County STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) educational opportunities for students of all ages, and includes events like the annual Merced County STEM Fair and the upcoming new STEAM Expo.

College and Career Readiness

In partnership with the Merced County Regional Occupational Program and Career Technical Education Programs, the MCEF is honored to provide the Evelyn Eagleton and CTE Transportation Scholarships to high school and college students to continue their education each year.  The MCEF also supports Literacy and the Little Lending Library Program as part of preparing students for their futures.
